Your Career in the Foreign Currency Training and Trading Market

You won’t believe the position you’ll have in the marketplace as you begin to share with your colleagues, prospects, and networking groups, that you are involved in the foreign currency markets. You’ll find that after a few weeks of exposure and study, you’ll have more knowledge of this aspect of the financial services industry than traditional financial planners with many years experience.

Most financial services professionals consider the forex market far too risky. That’s okay. There was once no options business. There was once no futures business. It was once rare that an individual managed his/her own investment account. Currency Investor’s Group Certified Trainers are on the front lines of introducing forex trading to the average investor. Our corporate mission surrounds education. Once the average investor becomes familiar with how to manage risk, take profit, automate certain systems, like stop losses and take profit points on software platforms, forex investing looks far more approachable. You really can learn how to train to the marketplace.

Let’s talk about the position for a bit. The most important part of a forex trainer’s job is finding clients and building a customer base. Thus, beginning trainers and forex mentors, just like other financial services professionals, spend much of their time searching for customers, often relying heavily on telephone solicitation, sales calls, and traditional sales methods. They also may meet clients through business and social contacts. Trainers also join civic organizations and other social groups to expand their networks of possible clients. Many find it useful to contact potential clients by teaching adult education investment courses or by giving lectures at libraries or social clubs. Brokerage firms may give sales agents lists of people with whom the firm has done business in the past. After an agent is established, referrals from satisfied clients are an important source of new business.

Trainers secure their own training facilities, event locations, etc. Aggressive revenue sharing exists in favor of the trainer since he/she is bearing most of the risk for filling classes and promoting the seminar and class series. Approved Video Conference Training is available for the company trainers as well.

Currency Investor’s Group, LLC will provide support for the trainer in the form of training, email, systems, materials, online presence, eventual Series 3 Training, a pathway to revenue sharing on Introducing Brokerage revenue, a career path, option pool participation, and company benefits.

Work Environment

Forex trainers generally work somewhat more than 40 hours a week, but they may not work at traditional times. Evening and weekend work is often necessary, as many of their clients work during the day. Evening and weekend work is common. Because geographical areas are not locked down firmly with the company at present, your opportunities to grow a business anywhere you wish currently exist. Since both commissions and advancement are tied to sales, your earning potential is uncapped.

Training, Other Qualifications, and Advancement

Most of our positions require a bachelor’s degree, although few require a specific major. An MBA or professional certification can also be very helpful. Advancement will often be possible. Those that are successful can have extremely lucrative careers. In the forex training business, there are no regulations associated with training traders. However, if you promote in any way, a particular company or method that encourages trading, it is the company’s opinion and that of its’ counsel that you may have to eventually secure your Series 3 license. This is career path all Currency Investors Group trainers will follow.
